We received some incredible submissions for our very first parkour film festival, and are beyond happy to hear some of these projects got started and/or finished because of it. A sincere thank you to everyone who participated, from the athletes, filmmakers and their crews (or mom and dad), to the audience at the screening, for making it a memorable first edition!

Before we get to the results, we would like to give another sincere shoutout to our judges!

Thank you Lisa Eckert, Kevin Franzen, Sacha Powell, Nicolas Vanhole & Geert Meeusen, for watching and rating all submissions.

Many of the short project descriptions below are based on Kevin's reviews, which he spontaneously wrote in addition to scoring the submissions. So another big thank you Kevin!

Ok, time for the results!

Winner: "PROTÉINE"

Ravi Pousseur | Belgium | 2025 | 10 min. (16+)

Hold on tight, as "PROTÉINE" is a film that takes you on a trip that nobody expected.

It's outstanding cinematography, storytelling, editing and production value clearly made it stand out from the rest. And that is without even mentioning its originality. When asked how this project came to be, the response went something like this: "Well, this started as a bad idea, which turned in a good idea..."

**The creators of PROTÉINE and festival organisers would like to warn the audience for explicit content, featuring substance abuse and some gore. Don't do drugs kids!

Second place: "Jugo Grad"

Avanti Garda | Czech Republic | 2025 | 18 min.

"Jugo Grad" shows the Avanti Garda crew as they venture into the mostly unknown and unexplored countries of eastern Europe. The film does an excellent job of showcasing these countries, the architecture, and the energy of their journey through both amazing movement and experimental editing sections.

Third place: "Klei Weng Me"

Zoe Kern | Germany | 2025 | 10 min.

Zoe Kern's "Klei Weng Me" was by far the most refreshing movie on the list. It's unique style of editing and storytelling took us by surprise. Each move, and shot, has a purpose. A beautiful display of vision and execution.

Young Talent Award: "STATIC"

Cedric Marx | Belgium | 2025 | 6 min.

To encourage our younger audiences into creating a submission, we announced a special Young Talent Award. Only submissions where everyone involved was younger than 18, had a chance at claiming this award.

Here is a little excerpt by Kevin Franzen's review: "STATIC is the host of a brilliant display of incredible skill and spot usage. With the use of only static filming and one single gym, Cedric - only 17 years old - shows us how much is possible with little to hand."

Best Belgian Submission: "MAYHEM"

Ambras | Belgium | 2025 | 11 min.

To support our own Belgian community, we also reserved an award for Best Belgian Submission. In a close call with "Antwerpen" by Oedwaï, the newly established AMBRAS took the win with their ambitious, heavy hitting first project called "MAYHEM". While we let our knees rest just from watching, we are already looking forward to their next project to hit our screens.

Thank you for being a part of our film festival community!

After a successful first edition, we are already looking forward to next year's festival, where we will once again celebrate parkour filmmaking, and hope for the creation of many more exciting projects.

Mark your calendars (August 29th 2026!) and stay tuned for more updates, as we prepare for another exciting event filled with inspiring films by talented creators.
